Reflecting its achievements in this area, UAB has received a number of awards, such as Asian Banking & Finance’s “Domestic Retail Bank of the Year 2016” and “Myanmar Domestic Technology and Operations Bank of the Year 2016”.
- To be the leading customer-centric bank built on safe, sound and trustworthy principles.
UAB will continue to grow and enhance its customer base by providing sound solutions that combine the highest level of banking expertise, technology, and financial security. Part of this growth will be through infrastructure, such as UAB’s plan to expand its network to 75 branches by the end of the 2016 fiscal year. Another important growth sector will be through strategic partnerships with reputable organizations, such as the Asian Development Bank.
UAB employs 1,900 people across eight departments, including trade finance, risk & credit, information & communication technology, compliance, DTB, finance, retail, and administration.
